SID GRIFFIN
Sid Griffin first entered the spotlight via his pioneering Americana band, the Long Ryders. He is also the ringleader of the acoustic folk/bluegrass ensemble the Coal Porters. Currently he is touring behind his fourth solo release, the acclaimed album The Journey From Grape To Raisin.
Griffin is a freelance writer whose by-line has appeared in The Guardian, Mojo, Q, Shindig!, Sounds, BAM, and the Los Angeles Times. He has written four books, several BBC Radio Two specials, and co-wrote the BBC TV documentary Gram Parsons: Fallen Angel. Griffin has annotated and compiled over fifty musical reissues for labels such as Sony, Rhino, PolyGram, Universal, Mercury, EMI and A&M.
